| Ahlers
Designs Born in the New York area, Gail Ahlers moved to Providence to attend Rhode Island School of Design, graduating in 1985 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Light Metals. In the same year she was the recipient of the prestigious De Beers Diamond Award for Jewelry Design. In 1989, Gail formed Ahlers Designs, a company known for its contemporary jewelry and small sculpture. She is a member of the Society of North American Goldsmiths and the Rhode Island School of Design Alumni Council Executive Committee.
